On October 6, 2012 contract of “Bahar 2D Seismic Survey” concluded between “N.I.O.C Exploration Directorate” and Dana Energy.
“This is the third project between Dana Energy and N.I.O.C Exp. Directorate so far” Mr. Daneshkhah, Geophysical Services Director said in the ceremony. He also hoped to acquire new useful data from geological structures for achieving exploratory goals. Bahar 2D survey is planned to complete within 15 months in which seismic data of 1150 km will be acquired.
“As long as Dana Energy plays an important role against recognizing hydrocarbon potentials in the region, it has been concentrating on oil and gas upstream” Mr. Karimi as Dana Energy CEO added in this ceremony. He also realized “execution of each project creates potentials and opportunities in order to improve knowledge, to learn technology, to train human resources and to increase competitiveness in the country.” He also believed that successful execution of each project is the outcome of cooperation between both client and contractor.
