Dana Energy And CGG Sign MOC

Dana Energy announced today it has signed a memorandum of cooperation (MOC) with CGG Services SA. from France, one of the world’s largest geoscience companies, in the EAGE conference and exhibition in Vienna. CGG is a fully integrated Geoscience company providing leading geological, geophysical and reservoir capabilities to its broad base of customers primarily from the global oil and gas industry.

The MOC provides a framework for Dana Energy and CGG to cooperate in defining, execution and implementation of onshore seismic data acquisition and processing projects in Iran. CGG and Dana Energy share the same vision of services and teamwork towards execution of projects. “We recognize the value each party brings and wish to enter into collaboration in order to make the projects and the collaboration a success” said Mr. Mohsen Daneshkhah, President of oilfield services from Dana Energy.

“The signing of this agreement is a ground-breaking development for geophysical services of Dana Energy. It gives us the global reach to deploy our technology, and work with the most experienced geophysical staff in the world to develop the technology further in operational settings. Our relationship with CGG enables us to expand our highly qualified workforce to cope with what we anticipate will be a large increase in commercial work.” Said Mr. Davood Sarbaz, Executive Vice President of Dana Energy.
