Workover and Completion Supervisor (Company Man)

Role Overview

As a Workover and Completion Supervisor (Company Man), you will be responsible for: 

  • Supervising and executing drilling and well completion operations in the operational environment while adhering to safety conditions according to the predetermined plan.
  • Approving operational tickets and contractor status reports based on their performance.
  • Efforts to reduce costs in line with project budget achievement.
  • Ensuring the proper implementation of all HSE requirements during operations by operational contractors.
  • Ensuring timely receipt and return of contractor goods to prevent additional project costs.
  • Identifying operational risks and reporting them to the operations manager.
  • Supervising the preparation of daily drilling operation reports prepared by the company’s night shift and modifying them if necessary.
  • Supervising and executing operations in the operational environment during the day and reporting any discrepancies to the operations manager and handing over work to the night shift at shift change hours.
  • Coordination with the logistics department of the operational site for receiving and transporting materials and equipment at appropriate times and conditions.
  • Checking contractors’ operational data and reports to improve operational performance and conducting regular daily operational meetings with operational contractors and their supervisors according to the Working Procedure.
  • Reporting any contractor non-compliance in STOP Cards and preparing NCR for contractors if necessary and referring them to the planning department.

 

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of work experience
  • Onshore

  • 14 days on, 14 days off
  • Petroleum Engineering (minimum bachelor’s degree)
  • Proficient in crisis management and analysis.
  • Familiarity with well control methods and their hazards.
  • Waste management.
  • MLC system and driving casing pipes in this system.
  • Knowledge of various personal protective equipment, familiarity with the standards of personal protective equipment, the necessity of using personal protective equipment, and proper maintenance of them.
  • Identification and management of business risks.
  • Project management system (ISO 21502).
  • ISO 55001 standard.
  • Familiarity with survival at sea, helicopter ditching at sea, and facing H2S.
  • Drilling accompanied by complete loss (Blind Drilling accompanied by the risk of stuck & pack off).
