Field Geophysicist

Role Overview

  • Planning and executing the presence of check personnel to inspect the depth of drilling holes before recording operations.
  • Providing visit plans for operational groups and daily inspections of the seismic operation processes (recording, drilling, surveying).
  • Updating the quality control database of drilled points.
  • Planning and executing periodic training for operational groups.
  • Compilation and updating of databases from daily inspections of operation processes.
  • Recording daily qualitative observation reports at the field level.
  • Providing solutions to reduce non-compliant issues and presenting appropriate corrective actions.
  • Updating the database of recorded data daily.
  • Updating points requiring re-surveying in recording operations.
  • Coordination with operational groups to be informed of daily data extraction plans.
  • If the project includes a plan for layer extraction, the field geophysicist is responsible for data collection and processing.

Candidate Requirements

  • Age: 23 to 42
  • Place of activity: Operational projects
  • Familiarity with seismic design software and design process.
  • Familiarity with processing software and processing process.
  • Familiarity with seismic operations.
  • Ability to work with IFS (Enterprise Resource Planning ERP software).
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
