Seismology Quality Control Specialist (Processing)

Role Overview

  • Reviewing geometric data
  • Reviewing quality indicators in collected data
  • Reviewing the quality of daily data (recording) and preparing daily technical reports to obtain technical approval of shots from the client, as well as field visits to control the quality of data collection process
  • Preparation of processed daily sections (stacked) according to contractual sequences in two-dimensional operations
  • Preparation of processed sections (stacked) at the end of each swath according to contractual sequences in three-dimensional operations
  • Preparation of periodic reports on the status of processed data
  • Preparation of the final data processing report
  • Finalization and sending of processed data to the client

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience
  • Field: Mining (Minimum Bachelor’s degree)
  • Petroleum Engineering (Exploration) (Minimum Bachelor’s degree)
  • Geophysics (Seismology) (Minimum Master’s degree)
  • Travel required
  • Field of Activity: Operational Projects
  • Proficiency in OMNI or MESA software
  • Proficiency in data processing procedures and Promax and Vista software
  • Proficiency in IMS seismic processing procedures
  • Ability to work with IFS (ERP organization resource management software)
  • Proficiency in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
