Role Overview
As a Cost Control Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Participating in budgeting meetings with internal departments, clients, and partners
- Providing senior management with updates on ongoing project statuses
- Updating budgets and reporting on department activities
- Developing and implementing cost control procedures, budgeting guidelines, and work instructions aligned with the finance department’s mission
- Preparing, monitoring, and reporting all expenses and ensuring operational and accounting records align with project budgets and contractual agreements
- Collaborating closely with the ERP team to implement cost control and budgeting functionalities within the ERP system
- Implementing cost center rules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and cost allocation processes to ensure comprehensive asset cost tracking
- Coordinating efforts with finance and project teams to ensure alignment and accurate reporting
